Before I took IS101-3004 class I thought I already know how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I am wrong, I only know the basics. As I went through the course, I learned a lot of things like formatting, functions, slide masters, and more. Now, as I am about to finish this class I can now say that I have the knowledge to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, not just the basics. Well, all thanks to this class.
Regarding the A5 Slideshow Presentation, I am glad I did it. I got to create my own slideshow from scratch. Compared to my first slideshow where I only use templates, I liked my slideshow now. I did my best creating it while preparing for my finals too. I am glad that I learned how to manage my time well. Honestly, I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but thankfully I did.
Hi Karylle! The slide master in PowerPoint was one of my favorite new skills. I loved that it streamlined the process of making each slide the same when it comes to the font, backgrounds, etc. Its admirable that you did your PowerPoint while prepping for finals! I hope you knocked everything out of the park!
ReplyDeleteHey Karylle, I agree I also thought before I understood how the Microsoft products worked...boy was I wrong.
ReplyDeleteHi Karylle. I had the same thoughts as you. I work with Microsoft Word and Excel daily, but I had just scratched the surface of what can be done in those applications.
ReplyDeleteHi Karylle, I very much agree with what you said. I also felt confident in knowing how to use Microsoft programs. As the semester went on I realized I only knew the basics and there was so much for me to learn!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to how you felt before taking this class! I also thought I knew Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but IS101 really opened my eyes to how much more there is to learn.
ReplyDeleteHi Karylle, I'm in the same position as you with assuming I had computer literacy. But now we have some new tricks up our sleeves.
ReplyDelete:)
Hello, Karylle great to see you are doing great and managing your time.
